Cranberry Moscow Mules

Cranberry Moscow Mules

A bartender I am not, but pull out those cute copper mugs & I’ll find a way to become one. Seriously, they are just so cute it makes you want to sip on something. These are the perfect drink to go with a filling holiday feel as they are light and refreshing. So whether you make as a cocktail or a mocktail, wrap your hands around that cute but chilling copper mug & enjoy a few sips.

As a host/hostess you are running around doing so many things. Unless you are going to have someone stationed as a bartender the drink making falls on you. My tip…put it back on the task of the guest. Set up a cute bar station with all the ingredients & tools laid out with a cute little step by step on how to prepare. One, it’s adorable. Two, it becomes an activity your guests can do together. Three, it allows people to make drinks as strong, weak or void of alcohol as they wish. But most important it let’s you do all the other things you need to do to be the host/hostess with the mostest.

Ingredients

  • 1-2 cups cranberry juice 2 oz each, add more for non-alcohol version
  • 8 oz vodka 2 oz each, alcohol version
  • 2 limes, halved
  • 10-12 oz ginger beer
  • ice
  • 1/2 cup cranberries for optional garnish

Instructions

  • Alcohol version:
In a cocktail shaker add ice, vodka, cranberry juice & juice from 1/2 lime. Give it a good shake. Pour over ice into a copper mug. Top with ginger beer. Garnish with cranberries.
  • Non-alcohol version:
In a cocktail shaker add ice, cranberry juice (3 oz) & juice from 1/2 lime. Give it a good shake. Pour over ice into a copper mug. Top with ginger beer. Garnish with cranberries.

Notes

When making the non-alcohol version simply increase the amount of cranberry juice and ginger beer.
If you will be serving a large amount of people you can make the base in a pitcher.  Just keep the ginger beer separate & continue to use as a top off so that it keeps those refreshing bubbles.
Enjoy responsibly!
