Hi! I’m J.J., the photographer & recipe developer for Chomping at the Pic. As an avid foodie, I have always loved trying new foods & experimenting in the kitchen. I soon found that cooking was my happy place. My recipes are designed to showcase plant based meals that are easy, tasty & impressive. My other happy place is behind the lens. I fell in love with photography years ago on travel expeditions & have now merged these two loves into freelance food photography and styling. I love working with brands, restaurants & other creatives in the industry.

Recipe Development: I think cooking, and for that matter eating, should be both nutritious & fun. So I am constantly thinking up new ways to experiment in the kitchen. It’s like my own little test kitchen! And that’s great news for you if you’re looking to partner on developing, testing, or photographing recipes.
Food Photography & Styling: Do you know how hard it is to convince people that a plant based diet is just as tasty as any other diet? I started Chomping at the Pic as a place to share these amazing dishes. The best way to do that… engaging imagery that makes you want to dive right in! I’m available to hire for photography, photo styling, and photo editing projects.

Sponsored posts are an effective way to connect your brand or product with my audience as I only showcase brands I personally trust & love.
