Adding the some Fun-fetti to the morning! Can we just admit that some mornings are just better with a coffee & donut? And that it is perfectly fine & okay to admit that! These Vanilla Glazed Funfetti Donuts add just the right amount of fun, sweet & child-like sprinkled joy to any day.
These sprinkles were originally used for a client shoot, but they were just too cute to not find a way to make a recipe for the blog. In fact they are just too cute to not find a way to make many more things for the blog, but I’ll spread it out so that we can savor these cute little Animal Cookie Sprinkles.
These Vanilla Glazed Donuts are super easy to make. Start to finish you can whip them up in 30 minutes or less. Aside from the sprinkles, the ingredients are all probably in your pantry right now. Simply add the ingredients to large bowl, stir to combine, pour in a donut tin & bake. The vanilla glaze & sprinkles are optional, but if you are going to eat a donut, are they really optional? I see them as more of a required piece of the donut experience, how about you?
I feel we are in agreement here so the next step is to mix up the 3 ingredient glaze. Then we dip & sprinkle. How simple is that! Brew some coffee & serve. A sweet treat to start the day & if these sprinkles don’t make you smile, even a little, you may not be human.

Vanilla Glazed Funfetti Donuts
Ingredients
Vanilla Donut
- 1 cup flour
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2/3 cup non-dairy milk of choice
- 2 tbsp coconut oil, melted
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1 pinch salt
- 3 tsp sprinkles
Vanilla Glaze
- 1/3 cup powdered sugar
- 1-2 tsp non-dairy milk of choice
- 1/8 tsp vanilla extract
- more sprinkles to garnish
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°.
- Melt the coconut oil in the microwave for about 20 seconds until completely melted.
- Prepare the donut tin by placing 1-2 drops of the melted coconut oil in each individual mold & gently coat all around to ensure the donuts do not stick to the tin. Save the remaining coconut oil for the batter.
- In a large bowl add the remaining donut batter ingredients, except the sprinkles & stir well to incorporate, removing any lumps. Then fold in the sprinkles.
- With a small spoon, scoop the batter into each donut mold filling about 2/3 of the way. Give the tray a light tap on the counter to release any air bubbles. Bake for 10-12 minutes. Remove from oven & let cool.
- While the donuts cool make the glaze. Whisk together the powdered sugar, milk & vanilla until it forms a glaze. Adjust the texture by adding a little more sugar or milk to reach your desired consistency.
- Dip the top of each donut in the glaze & then top with sprinkles. Repeat this process with each donut.
