Cinnamon Apple Latte
Sip on all the fall feels with this warm, cinnamon apple latte.
Servings: 1
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup coffee or 2 espresso shots
- 6 tbsp apple cider
- 1 tsp apple butter optional
- 1/2 cup dairy-free milk of choice
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
- optional toppings: whipped cream, fall spices
Instructions
- In a small saucepan heat the cider, milk, syrup & apple butter if using. Bring to a simmer whisking well.
- Make your coffee/espresso & pour into your favorite mug.
- Remove saucepan from heat & froth the milk mixture. Pour over the hot coffee. See notes.
- Optional: Top with whipped cream, dust with cinnamon & garnish with a cinnamon stick.
Notes
To increase the flavor profile I highly recommend adding the apple butter if you have it available. Totally fine if you don’t.
That frothy milk mixture first sip is everything! Use your desired method to froth milk whether it be a handheld frothing wand, steaming mug, espresso machine or even old school method of putting it in a lidded container & giving a good shake. None of the above work? Simply pour the milk mixture over your coffee. Same great taste!
