Sweet Greens Smoothie Bowl

This Sweet Greens Smoothie Bowl is a sneaky good way to get in those fruits & vegetables first thing in the morning to start your day!

Ingredients

  • 1 frozen banana about 1 cup
  • 1/2 cup frozen mango
  • 1 cup collard greens sub spinach or kale
  • 1/2 small avocado about 1/4 cup
  • 1 tbsp hemp seeds optional
  • 1/4 - 1/2 cup water sub non-dairy milk
  • favorite toppings - blueberries, kiwi, dragon fruit, coconut (shown)

Instructions

  • Slice your fruit toppings into desired bites. Set aside.
  • To a blender add the smoothie ingredients except the water. Blend while slowly streaming in the water until smooth. You may need to stop to scrape down the sides. Add more water if needed.
  • Serve in a bowl with your favorite toppings.

Notes

Feel free to sub your favorite greens for the collard greens.  Spinach or kale would work nicely.
Freeze your bananas once they have reached prime sweetness.  The more ripe they get the sweeter they become & then you will not need to add any additional sweeteners.
Don't have any hemp seeds?  You could add chia seeds or ground flax seeds too.
